Mainers could find two marijuana choices on ballot

WCSH - Maine voters could have two marijuana legalization measures to consider in November 2016....There are several differences between the two proposals. The Campaign to Regulate Marijuana Like Alcohol's initiative would make it legal for adults 21 and older to possess one ounce of marijuana, while the Legalize Maine proposal would make it legal to possess 2.5 ounces. Another difference is found in the proposed tax structure. The Campaign to Regulate Marijuana Like Alcohol is proposing a 15 percent tax, while Legalize Maine is proposing a ten percent tax on marijuana. The two groups also view marijuana differently. As the name suggests, the "Campaign" group wants to treat marijuana and regulate it like alcohol, but Legalize Maine wants to treat it like agriculture.
